OUR PROJECTS

Kalena Park's transformation has been built project by project, season by season, through the collective effort of our community. What began with a 2019 redesign plan by Barth and Associates has grown into a sustained revitalization effort — one that has brought new rubber tile pathways, native tree plantings, hand-painted murals, a refurbished basketball and pickleball court, a brand-new playground, and upgraded fencing that finally says welcome instead of keep out. Each project has been made possible through a powerful network of partners and together, these projects have turned a neglected green space into a thriving gathering place — and we are just getting started.
